My new home

Today I left Nambucca and went to Queensland. On the way we passed the Big Banana, the Big Knight and the Big Prawn. For lunch we stopped at a park in Ballina and also played Vortex. I took my pink teddy with me for our picnic. After the picnic, we hopped in the car and drove to the caravan park in Southport Queensland (on the Gold Coast). We parked at our spot in the caravan park and went to the toilets to make sure our security password worked - it did !!! Then it was on to the jumping pillows - it was so fun :-)

Hope you are all having fun at home. I miss you lots :-( Love Lauren.

  1. I'm loving your blog, very pretty colours! Great to hear you made it safely up the coast to Queensland, I assume Dad wasn't speeding - I need you to keep checking on that. Hoping the caravan is nice and warm for sleeping and that Jame's snoring is not waking you up. Weather here in Sydney is cold and wet, much like when you left.

All the best as you begin your adventure to the centre of Oz, and keep up the posts!

  2. Hi Uncle Pete, Dad says to let you know that he is better at numbers and speeding than you are at spelling your nephew's name!! Today is sunny and soon we are going to Sea World. Last night after dinner we got to play on some equipment which included a flying fox. Dad's thinking of doing some big run's soon up the beaches in preparation for running around "The Rock" - hopefully he is faster than the dingoes and rattle snakes. Say hello to Aunty Cherie and the boys. I look forward to doing some craft with Aunty Cherie soon. Love Lauren :-)

  3. Hi Lauren,

Glad to hear Pink Teddy went on the picnic with you. I hope I'll have his blanket finished by the time you get home. He'll need it as it's very cold here. What a great time you are having!! So mamy good things to do and places to see. Love you, Grandma & Pop
